HOW TO REQUEST A HOME VISIT

Please contact the surgery ideally before 11:00am if you think you need a home visit

The doctor will call you back to assess the urgency of the request and priority is given to housebound and elderly patients. Visits are usually carried out during the afternoon.  We usually prefer to see patients here in the surgery so that they can benefit from our in-house equipment.

You may only request a home visit if you are a housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to assess the urgency of your visit. If you are suffering with chest pains, breathing problems or severe abdominal pain, please make sure that you communicate it to us.
