Electronic Repeat Medication Requests: PLEASE READ
We ve seen unprecidented demands for repeat prescriptions by e-mail and we apologise for the delay in processing many of your requests. We believe we have now cleared most of the backlog and want to move forward in a more streamlined way,
From 1st April 2020, we will no longer accept e-mail requests for repeat prescriptions and ask you to only use SystmOnLine software from either your computer or smart phone app. If you don't have your log-in details please e-mail us for these and we will send them to you by SMS text as soon as possible.
In line with national guidance, we will be trying to REPEAT DISPENSE as many of your medications as possible to your pharmacy, This means your pharmacy will hold several future issues of your prescriptions and you will simply need to approach them for the next issue.
The presciptions can only be drawn at the usual time interval to avoid stockpiling. Certain drugs cannot be sent electronically or be repeat dispensed and include controlled drugs and private prescriptions. You will still need to request these from us via SystmOne when you need them.
If you are self-isolating away from your usual home, we can redirect your electronic prescption to any pharmacy in England (sadly not Wales, Scotland, N Ireland, Europe or the rest of the world). We will need the name of the pharmacy and the Post code to set this up. Messages such as this, and for one off medications not on your repeat lists, can be sent via the message function on the repeat medication page of the SystmOnLine webpage. Please indicate the reason for the request, the strength and full name of such medications.
All at the surgery ask you to
STAY AT HOME, PROTECT THE NHS, SAVE LIVES
